Enyian is cruel by nasor Phillips from Nigeria

Eventually, I decided to look at them Lost in lust Confused on a persons look Sworn to decide by the sword swipe. Its so sad i feel bad For my dreams shattered All to powder by my hatred But my son,i see the Ojo's pleading for years. It is extremely hard To open the lock of my heart After your sister was killed How do i believe? The lies The Unholy worship of Eniyan? Even though i miss their bliss Affection and Sacrificial Attention Darkness wakes and the sun dies. Eniyan!!! Whom came to plead yeye's milk Their treachery haunts them Behind their dream windows Frivolous and obnoxious dreams. Eniyan is cruel!!! They are human chicks   They shall see me when the sun behold their eyes on the day of the coming I wonder how the christain God mercies them ENIYAN. OKAY. i will be brave and forgiving, for i cannot choose to forever weep. But as i send you, to Eniyan Year after year Tell them about my anger Anger enough to boil the whole marine world. ...

Seen by Adatsi Brownson from Ghana

SEEN For months, mouths spoke and narrated the ordeal of former days that are yet to be repeated My eyes and ears wished they saw and hear, this days so but the heart is afraid to bear Are stories true? And can threads move through like the unseen eye of a needle? I became a sentry, just to see Stories manifest My pens are yet to swindle nature to meet the synopsis of a dreadful dance in hell We've seen Rome collapsed And here you are dancing to the pompous array of words. When last did I see hell break lose? But today,  I spotted hot stones dine with ice Are stories true? Should I say overcrowded water base Or simply flood The long discussed and awaited unwanted has arrived, just in my dish plate. Give me a space, for I have seen beyond hell I can now clearly see money and blood yell And anything I say here can be used against me in the Court of realistic fiction. Now all your stories about the destructive flood rendering people homeless is s...

How to write a poem by dapper the poet from Kenya

If you are writing a poem because you want to  capture a feeling that you experienced , then you don’t need these tips. Just write whatever feels right. Only you experienced the feeling that you want to express, so only you will know whether your poem succeeds. If, however, your goal is to communicate with a reader  — drawing on the established conventions of a literary genre (conventions that will be familiar to the experienced reader) to generate an emotional response in your reader  — then simply writing what feels right to you won’t be enough.  (See also “ Poetry is for the Ear ” These tips will help you make an important transition: away from  writing poetry to celebrate, commemorate, or capture  your own feelings  (in which case you, the poet, are the center of the poem’s universe) towards  writing poetry in order to generate  feelings in your reader (in which case the poem exists entirely to serve the reader).
